Jason Yang is a Manual Osteopath who graduated from the National Academy of Osteopathy in 2023. His deep passion for understanding the human body drives his commitment to helping others heal. Having experienced the benefits of Manual Osteopathy firsthand while recovering from athletic injuries, Jason is dedicated to applying these techniques in his practice.
Before specializing in osteopathy, Jason studied as a Physiotherapy Assistant and Occupational Therapy Assistant at Algonquin College. He actively engages with the volleyball community, coaching both the Ottawa Mavericks Volleyball Club and the St. Laurent Academy Jr/Sr Boys Volleyball team. Additionally, he is a member of the Carleton University Men’s Volleyball treatment team, where he prepares players for competitions.
Jason’s treatment approach integrates a variety of techniques, including Muscle Energy Techniques, cupping, myofascial release, cranial work, and personalized exercise plans. He is passionate about continuous learning and regularly takes courses to expand his skill set, enabling him to serve a diverse clientele.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys playing basketball, tennis, ultimate frisbee, golf, badminton, bodybuilding, and has recently taken up pickleball. With a specialization in treating athletes and musculoskeletal conditions, he draws from a broad range of experiences to effectively address various injuries.
